Contract Length: ASAP until 30 June 2027

Pay: $79-$85 p.h + super

Hours: Full-time

Overview of the role:

Reporting to the Regulatory Communications Lead, you will provide strategic communication advice and services supporting the agency to communicate and engage with key stakeholders.You will be strategic, autonomous, and results-driven, developing effective working relationships with business units and specialist consultants to manage workloads across competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Relationship management, negotiation, development and prioritisation across multiple clients.
• Development, implementation and evaluation of strategic communication plans, identifying risks and opportunities for proactive issues management and management of sensitive issues.
• Help to deliver communication programs under the direction of the Communication Manager and Regulatory Communications Lead.
• Developing a wide range of communication collateral including reports, speeches, media releases, web content, and social media.
• Liaising, coordinating and consulting across senior managers and external stakeholders to develop and implement communications plans.
• Interpret, question and develop stakeholder communication materials for a variety of audiences around complex legislative and technical materials.

Knowledge required for the position.

• Experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
• Ability to share and seek creative ideas to inform service delivery.
• Experience with Vision6 is highly desirable

Qualifications:

• A relevant qualification in the field of communication, public relations, journalism or marketing or a related field is highly desirable
